Hahn Automation Receives NKITA Award of Excellence
HAHN AUTOMATION, Inc. is a leading custom automation equipment manufacturing company. With more than 20 employees, Hahn automation helps its customer base designing parts suited for automation and concepts layouts since the development phase to co-create together the most efficient solution. Founded in 1992 in Reinboellen, Germany, Hahn Automation Inc. opened its US operations in 2001 to serve the North American market. Hahn Automation receives the 2009 NKITA International Trade Award of Excellence, Small Business Achievement.
"General Cable and Hahn Automation Inc. demonstrated strong international foundations," said Sylvia Dwertman of Citi and 2009 Chair of the Northern Kentucky International Trade Association (NKITA). "Both companies, although different in employees and business size deserved our recognition."
The NKITA Award of Excellence was open to businesses located in Boone, Kenton, or Campbell Counties and/or a member of the Northern Kentucky Chamber who import or export from their operations in the Northern Kentucky/Cincinnati area. The company must have been in operation for at least three full years.
An impartial panel of judges reviewed completed award applications and narrowed the potential award candidates down to three finalists General Cable, Hahn Automation,· Inc. and NuVo Technologies. The winner was selected based upon its revenues generated, global network developed, risk mitigation, organizational structure as well as other important guidelines.
